The New Safari 15 for macOS
Apple has just released Safari 15 for macOS. This is the major upgrade I’ve been waiting for for a long time. Safari has since recently become my mainstay browser for work, social media, and entertainment. Find out here why I’m turning to Safari. The launch of the new version of the browser is even earlier than the launch of macOS Monterey, which is scheduled to be around October-November.
What’s new in Safari 15?
Tab group
Tab groups help you keep and manage similar tabs, such as those you would use when planning a vacation or for your everyday shopping.
For example, to manage your work or research, you may store all of your open tabs in a “research” group and use them as required. You won’t need to worry about saving more information when you’re not preparing for your work. Instead, you may store all your work-specific tabs in a Tab Group so that you can access them quickly.
To preserve the tabs you have open in Safari, first, open the new tiled tab view in Safari and then tap and hold on the Tabs symbol in the middle of the page.
Safari 15 may be downloaded by going to the System Preferences menu and choosing the Software Update option. There is no indication when macOS Monterey will be launched. Still, it might arrive in October alongside new Macs since Apple is anticipated to conduct a Mac-focused event this autumn to unveil new 14 and 16-inch MacBook Pro models.
Security Update
Apple doesn’t disclose, discuss, or confirm security issues until an investigation has occurred and patches or releases are available for customers’ protection. Recent releases are listed on the Apple security updates page. But the detail related to this security update can be seen from their announcement here.
